Last Friday, January 10, we held our first members' meeting of 2020, where the ACVC elected a new board of directors for this term. The president-elect was Andrés Meirovich Bellolio, Managing Partner of Genesis Ventures, vice president Francisco Guzman, partner at Carey Abogados, together with the other directors Sofia Grez (CFO of ChileGlobal Ventures) Pablo Traub (Managing partner of Manutara Ventures) Sebastian Gonzalez (Head corporate venturing of Wayra Chile) y Rodolfo Soria-Galvarro Gubler (CEO Digevo VenturesThe objectives for this year are to take the venture capital industry one step further, promoting private contributions to the financing of technology-based ventures, the internationalization of startups in the funds' portfolios, and cooperation, among other things, in the development of public policies that stimulate investment.
