Internationalization of Startups and VCs, Reasons and Preferences

The objective of this study is to identify the reasons why startups decide to incorporate in certain foreign jurisdictions rather than in their home country in Latin America. It also seeks to determine which jurisdictions are preferred when making the decision, according to their restrictions and benefits.

Minutes for the Capital Markets Commission

In this document you will find a summary of the proposals made by ACVC for
the Ministry of Economy and Finance delivered in December 2018. The purpose of these minutes is to generate a regulatory and incentive framework capable of empowering the Venture Capital Industry, and transform Chile into the most important investment platform in Latin America, making it the most relevant Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub in the region.

Study of national and international entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems with emphasis on the venture capital industry; focus on CVC, FFOO and pension funds.

This study analyzes the main innovation and entrepreneurship hubs in the world and also the national ecosystem, in order to then make a comparison and detect the gaps to be narrowed to reach the position of ninth global hub. It also analyzes hubs that would be Chile's direct competition and how we could take advantage of our current position. The study focuses on Venture Capital and how to attract more capital through the Family Office, pension funds and the CVC, rescuing the experiences of the hubs studied.
