Chile Day 2025, which took place in New York, was very well attended. The event organized by InBest Chile and the Ministry of Finance - Chile, attracted more than 400 attendees, who were able to witness the analysis of the present of the Chilean economy, and what is coming in the international context.

The ACVC was once again present at the event representing Chilean venture capital, through the presence of its executive director Magdalena Guzmán, and its president Francisco Guzmán, who is also a director of Inbest Chile.

This version of the meeting focused on the capital markets, and how the current context of uncertainty is opening up opportunities that should be paid attention to.

The Minister of Finance, Mario Marcel; the Executive Director of InvestChile, Carlos Álvarez; the Executive Director of InBest Chile, Victoria González; and the Vice Minister of Finance, Antonio Ulloa, among other speakers, addressed the present of the markets, investment opportunities, green financial instruments and how to face a challenging year.

In one of the parallel activities, Francisco Guzmán participated in the panel "Venture Capital: Venture Investment in Chile", together with Thomas Kimber from Angel Ventures, Felipe Camposano from Taram Capital and Cristian Velasco from WeBoost. In the opportunity he was able to share the current state of the industry, the main challenges and what is coming for the sector.

From the ACVC we are deeply grateful to InBest Chile for its permanent support and for continuing to position Chilean venture capital in the global context.
